 INTRO.

Being a modeller most of my life  and now retired, I wanted to make radio
control models which were near to real life as possible, feel, look and
perform like the real thing, cold to touch and warm when run. This I feel
could not be achieved with "shop bought kit". The Stalwart my first "scratch
built" over a period of 2 years and taking 2000 hours to research, plan,
design, draw and develop into this excellent model which was completed
on May 1991. I used only hand tools, a Black and Decker power drill, sweat
and tears. whilst not intented as an "Instruction Manual" but only to give
interest, ambition and inspiration to all. These two models are unique in so
much that I do not know of anymore in the country.

Finally, having had the pleasure making them!  You "Budding model makers"
can have the pleasure of seeing and making them. Remember   "PATIENCE"
  being the key to  success!
